Make an online request – this is for GP appointment requests or general admin queries.

Total triage is a new approach, recommended by NHS England, to help improve access to Primary Care services. It allows us to:
✅ Offer the most appropriate advice or appointment for your needs
✅ Respond more efficiently to urgent issues
✅ Arrange pre-bookable appointments for ongoing care when needed

Using the online request system helps us manage demand more effectively and ensure patients are seen in the right place, at the right time.

🔹 Appointments with nurses or healthcare assistants (HCAs) are not booked through the online form — please call or visit the surgery to book these.

If you’re unable to make an online request yourself, don’t worry — our Reception Team is still here to help and can complete it for you.

Come and visit the One Stop Cancer Shop on Wednesday 16th July 2025 outside the Lightbox Library in Barnsley Town Centre from 9:30am until 3:30pm.

Please visit on the day for advice on anything cancer related. There will be confidential spaces to chat and space for kids to play!

Services include:
• Cervical screenings will take place on the day for people due, on a mobile screening unit from 10am until 3pm
• Barnsley Smokefree Service taking referrals
• Barnsley Immunisations Team
• Bowel and Breast Screening Health Improvement Officers
• Barnsley Cancer Champions
• Lung Cancer Screening
