As summer has begun, we would love to share another local business that has some wonderful summer activities lined up.

The Story Tent brings stories alive through sensory and imaginative play for children ages 6 months to 5 years old (older siblings can also join).

The sessions last 45 minutes and are filled with interactive storytelling, sensory play, signing and singing. Each week throughout the summer holidays they will explore a different destination from Kenya and the Philippines to France and Mexico.

All classes are fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggy’s and the activities can be enjoyed whilst seated or supported by a parent/carer if needed. They create a relaxed and welcoming environment where families can participate at their own pace.

FAQ: How long will my child need physiotherapy for?

Our answer: Every child is different. This will depend on their level of need and the progress they make in their sessions and at home. There is no set timescale, but if you have questions then get in touch to see if we can help you and your child with physiotherapy.

We are a private physiotherapy company specialising in providing assessment and treatment for babies, children and young adults. We have a fully equipped clinic in Penley which is on the Wrexham/Shropshire border. We are also hoping to offer a pop-up Clinic in Warrington again soon!

If you are looking for something fun to do in Wrexham with your family this summer, why not visit The National Eisteddfod cultural festival hosted this year in Wrexham between 2-9th August!

It’s a fun and wonderful celebration of Welsh culture and language through music, competitions, art exhibitions and so much more. There is even a ‘kids village’ of family fun!

This event is designed to be accessible for all; there are flat wheelchair friendly routes as well as clearly signposted disabled and high-dependency toilets.
