This really caught my eye… Members of my Saturday group in Penllergaer often discuss how they can have a healthier version of a takeaway. This is a great example!
Spice up your life with our fiery fry-loaded fakeaway 🍟🌶️!
With chicken, chips, and Chinese 5 spice, this delicious dish is table-ready in just 20 minutes.
You’ll need:
✨ 500g potatoes, cut into chips
✨ 2 chicken breasts, cut into bitesize chunks
✨ 1 tsp cornflour
✨ 2 tsp smoked paprika
✨ 1/2 tsp garlic powder
✨ 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
✨ 1/2 onion, diced
✨ 1/2 red pepper, diced
✨ 1/2 green pepper, diced
And to make this Spice bag:
▶️ Preheat your air fryer to 190C.
▶️ Mix the chicken with the cornflour, 1tsp paprika, and the garlic powder.
▶️ Spray the chips with low-cal cooking spray, and cook in the air fryer.
▶️ Turn the chips after 10 minutes, add the chicken, and cook for another 10 mins.
▶️ Meanwhile, spray a pan with low-cal cooking spray and put over a medium heat. Add the peppers and onions and cook for 4 minutes.
▶️ When the chicken and chips are cooked, add to the pan along with the remaining paprika and Chinese 5 spice.
▶️ Cook for another minute, then serve with your favourite curry sauce!
