If your mental health has taken a bit of a hit recently going into winter, ask yourself, what can you change. 🧠 ❄️

Could you:
Eat better and consume the right amount of vitamins and minerals from your food?

Start exercising and set yourself little targets that build up to an end goal?
-
Get enough sleep so that you’re not constantly tired and feeling drained?
-
Get enough sunlight, especially during the winter months when it gets darker earlier and the weather is a bit miserable.
-
I’m not saying that this will make you instantly feel better and it’s not one size fits all, but give yourself a fighting chance and think about the changes you can make. 🙂

Think it could be time to invest in a lifting belt again 👀

Finished my deadlifts with 170kg for 3 reps today and I haven’t shifted weight like that in a long time.

-

Without Jinxing anything, this has so far been my best bulking phase with both my weight and strength going up.

-

In terms of diet, I’m hitting just over 3000 calories a day, 200g of protein and A LOT of carbs 😂

We’re coming to that time of year, where your abs can go into hiding for a while. During this time, I’m focusing my training and diet around how much size and strength I can pack on.

People are always hesitant to put on size, because they worry about getting fat, but if you manage your calories and energy expenditure correctly and eat relatively clean, you can can limit the amount of body fat you start to store. And if you think you’re putting on too much weight to quickly, adjust your calories and macronutrients slightly, Because there’s no point eating loads, if you’re not seeing improvements in your performance.
