With 54 apartments available for people over the age of 55, Newton House has apartments for rent and shared ownership.

We had a great session here at Newton House when a solicitor from Burnetts and a social worker/lecturer for a highly informative session on Wills and Power of Attorney. Residents and staff expressed how valuable they found the talk, particularly the clear guidance, and expert advice provided. Next talk will be about funerals and how we can help our families know what we want when it is time for us to say our goodbyes.

Friends of Newton House were presented with a certificate for outstanding by Cumbria in Bloom. Congratulations to everyone for their very hard work bringing Newton House to life. The Hazelnut tree in the first picture was a gift to celebrate the 40th Annivery of Cumbria in Bloom which was planted in our wild area with much ceremony, and encourages memories for those who visit whilst providing sustenance for our wildlife guests.

Newton House has just planted a Hazelnut Tree in our wild area. Thank you in Bloom. With each new nut the tree grows, it is a reminder of those we have lost and is also a blessing as it provides sustenance and life to the wildlife making our garden their home now and in the future. A special thank you Joan Robinson for organising the planting and the follow up celebration of bees with the honey and crumpets. , , ,
