Many congratulations to Drigg and District Young Farmers for completing their 77mile Wellytheheli pull today, arriving at Langwathby just after 3.30pm. I believe they are well on their way to achieving their £30k target. An incredible achievement. Thankyou to our customers who raised nearly £90 in just a week.

Cowper's Chemist (Joseph Cowper Ltd) are supporting Drigg & District Young Farmers in their amazing fundraising effort for the Great North Air Ambulance! (GNAAS). They are pushing a 1 tonne 'helicopter' from Drigg to Langwathby, all 77miles on 19/20 July 2025!

We have a collection bucket in Cowper's Chemist, King Street, Penrith where you can donate (every penny goes to their fundraising efforts) or you can click their link below to donate. Such a worthwhile cause and we wish them lots of luck!

Whilst GP's are to receive additional funding for their new 2025 contract, the Government is yet to even begin negotiations on the 2024 contract for Pharmacies......and people wonder why Pharmacies are closing up and down the country.
