✨Birth doesn’t always follow the path we imagined ✨
We can prepare, plan, and put everything in place… and life can still take turns you never expected.

From my own experience what was really importsnt is you feel heard, held and supported in what ever journey this takes.

But know this - However your baby arrives, it is still your story. It is still birth. It is still valid.

You carried this baby for nine months.
You showed up with love, courage, and care every single day.
And you deserve to feel held, supported, and honoured — especially when things felt out of your control.

Sometimes what we need most is space.
Space to breathe.
Space to feel.
Space to sit with our story and be met with care, not judgement.

And if your journeys have been hard, unpredictable, or nothing like you hoped… know this too:
Your next birth does not have to be the same.
With compassion, information, and steady support, new paths are possible. 🤍

You are not alone in any of it.

I must say this several time a week! In pregnancy, birth and postnataly, you are the decision-maker at every stage. You deserve clear, balanced information — shared in a way you can actually understand — and the time and space to think things through.

There is no “one right choice”… only the choice that’s best for you, your circumstances, and your family.

Trust yourself. Ask the questions. Be curious. Take the pause.
You’re allowed to make informed decisions every step of the way. 🤍

✨I’m not here to sell you a way to birth ✨

You already know how to do that — your body and your baby hold that wisdom deep within.

Yes, birth education is fantastic, understanding how birth works is such a powerful foundation for trusting your body. But i’m not here to tell you how to breathe, or what to do — only to work WITH you so you can follow your body’s instincts and birth the way you’re meant to.

When things don’t go as hoped, a doula can still be that grounding presence — someone who believes in you, holds space, and helps you find time and information to make your own choices, no matter the birth.

I’m not selling a “solution.” I’m offering support — calm, honest, trusted support.

What you see is what you get — me, right by your side. 🤍

🌿 What is a Doula?

For me, being a doula is all about continuity of care — being a steady, familiar presence through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Someone who really knows you, and is there every step of the way. 💜

A doula isn’t a medical professional — and that’s such an important distinction.
I don’t perform checks or make medical decisions, and I don’t replace your midwife or doctor.
My focus is purely on you — your emotions, your comfort, your confidence, and your connection to your birth experience.

Midwives are highly skilled medical professionals. Their role is to look after the safety and wellbeing of you and your baby, guided by clinical care and medical guidelines.
They do amazing work — often within busy shifts, hospitals, and systems.

A doula, on the other hand, isn’t ruled by those systems.
I’m led by you — your voice, your needs, your birth preferences.
I offer emotional and physical support, an understanding of how birth works physiologically, and gentle advocacy when it feels hard to speak up.

I’m the person who stays with you.
Who listens deeply.
Who reminds you of your strength when things get wobbly.

Your calm.
Your cheerleader.
Your consistent presence. 💜🧡
