I'm often asked, what is Qigong?
🌿
Pronounced chee gung', it translates as energy work and consists of gentle movements and postures, which practiced regularly will help to calm and regulate the body's energy system, or 'qi' network, improving mental, physical and emotional health. Closely related to Taichi, other benefits can include improved balance, circulation, flexibility and co-ordination. It's gentle nature also means those that those of varying physical ability or age can really benefit from this more relaxed type of exercise.

My first ever magazine article, in the current edition of Cumbria Life! Explains my thoughts on Qigong nicely and in the context of my own journey which I wasn't expecting when doing the interview but nicely surprised 😊
