Madison (left) is joining our Penrith team as an apprentice with the long-term goal of becoming a nurse. Sinead (right) is joining the Carlisle team, working evenings fits perfectly around caring for her young child.

🚧 When the road’s closed… take the scenic route! 🌾😄

Last night near Talkin Tarn, Michelle and Andrew from our Carlisle team found the only access road unexpectedly shut by the water company.

So what did they do? Parked up, laughed it off, and trekked a mile across the fields to make sure their evening visit went ahead. No cows, no complaints, just a couple of committed carers with muddy boots! 🥾💚

Thank you Michelle and Andrew, you’re a brilliant example of the dedication our carers bring to every call, whatever the weather or terrain.

We’re so pleased to see Kayleigh and Tamara return to their roles as home carers, both bring warmth, experience, and a genuine commitment to the people they support.

We’re also delighted to welcome Rachel, who has joined us as a Trainee Coordinator. She’ll be working closely with our care teams to help make sure clients continue to receive high-quality, person-centred support.

⭐️A Brush with the Seasons⭐️
A free, relaxed art group for Eden Country Care clients

We’re delighted to be working with The Arts Society Appleby-in-Westmorland to offer a free, six-week Art Club, especially for our clients who receive care at home.

Where: Cliburn Village Hall
When: Wednesdays, 10am–12pm, starting in July

Led by an experienced tutor, the sessions will include gentle, creative activities like painting, collage and drawing. You’ll be part of a small, friendly group with plenty of support and plenty of cake!
