Funeral details re the late Dennis Thompson:

THOMPSON: Sadly, passed away at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Friday, 23rd January, Dennis Ventress of Penrith, beloved husband of Phyllis, much loved dad of Lynn, Michael and Stephen, father-in-law of Richard, devoted grandad of Bethan and Amie and a very proud great grandad of Jack. He will also be sadly missed by Maggie, Stew and Tristan and as a fondly regarded uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many. Aged 91. Service and cremation to be held at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday 10th February at 12.30pm. The family invite attendees to wear colours, other than black in celebration of his life.
