BROWN: Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, 12th October, Neil of Mayburgh Avenue, Penrith, beloved husband of Nellie, much loved dad of Caroline and Amanda (Mandy), and a sadly missed granda, great-granda, father-in-law, brother and uncle. Aged 93 Years. Graveside Service and interment at Penrith Cemetery on Thursday, 23rd October at 11.00am. If you are unable to attend the Service, please feel free to attend the reception at The Lounge, Penrith, to share stories and raise a glass in memory of Neil. The Role:
We are looking for a professional and compassionate individual to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and conducting funerals with the utmost care and respect, guiding, and supporting families through every step of the process.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Possesses exceptional empathy, interpersonal skills, and a naturally caring disposition.
* Maintains a calm, composed, and professional demeanour under pressure.
* Has impeccable attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Holds a full, clean UK driving license.
* Resides in Penrith or within 5 miles to facilitate the on-call requirements.

Twenty-four years ago, the world stood still. Today, we remember.
On this anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we take a moment to reflect on a day of immense tragedy.

We think of the nearly 3,000 lives cut short, each one a unique story of a parent, a child, a friend, a colleague. We also remember the heroism that shone through the darkness – the firefighters, police, and paramedics who showed the very best of humanity in the worst of times.

Loss is a universal language, and our thoughts today are with all those in the United States and around the world whose lives were changed forever.

We will not forget.

Richardson’s Funeral Directors are an independent family owned local business who have been carefully arranging funerals in Penrith and Cumbria for over 100 years and have records dating back to January 1895. Whilst we have a lot of history we feel we have the right balance on modern approaches blended with traditional values.
