Hi everyone, just a reminder that the Summer holidays are nearly upon us, and due to having millions of children I will be working reduced hours…
My plan is to do two evening appointments per evening and I’ll also be working every Friday during the day and Sunday afternoon. Please let me know asap if there are any dates you’d like specifically as these slots will fill up quickly. Thank you, and God Speed. I’ll see you out the other side hopefully 😂 x

Two of my girls wanted a treatment today; my older daughter Emelia asked for a back massage and promptly fell asleep, my youngest Freya asked for a facial and so I put this eye mask on and she promptly had hysterics! Can’t wait to be back at work this Sunday evening ✨

It takes quite a lot for me to recommend a product, but I can honestly say this spf is INCREDIBLE. It’s so, so light and not remotely greasy. Kind of feels like a lightweight moisturiser, but better. If you don’t like sun creams that leave a shiny layer, this is the one for you ☀️

The stunning view as you’re pulling up to the Retreat. If you’re not local, the mountain in view is Blencathra, or locals nicknamed it “Saddleback” as it looks remarkably like a horse saddle. I hope people start to unwind as they drive towards the treatment space looking at these views ✨

• protection from the cold • lots of people have been saying their skin is sore, dry and even chapped from this very cold weather we’ve been having (-8*c in the Lake District!) If you’re looking to super-charge your moisturiser, I’d certainly recommend a product from the cica family. They are really calming, nourishing and protecting for the skin-barrier (so ideal if you have sensitive skin or are working through an issue) and they are richer than many moisturisers, without being greasy. If you’re going to be going outside in this freezing weather and feel like your skin needs an extra layer of protection, these products are perfect! I also recommend moving to a super-moisturising lip product, and for me the is *chefs kiss*, it’s packed full of lanolin and ceramides which leave your lips glossy but not at all sticky. Hope this helps ✨

• winter • the stunning location of the retreat means that it can sometimes be snowed in! I don’t want anyone to drive in adverse weather just for the sake of a treatment, as much as I’d love to see you it’s not worth an accident or even just turning up stressed because of the journey. Please just let me know if you’d rather not attend and we can simply rearrange. Thank you x
