Antifaffist 'Nae F**kin' Aboot'

I have faffed on donating the money raised through my antifaffist ‘nae fu**in’ aboot’ merchandise.

I have been meaning to do another run of t’s and hoods but due tae covid haulting 2 years of festivals and events put this idea on the back burner. I still may do another run someday.

The money has been donated to Anarchist Black Cross’s crowdfund for legal aid and support for people under the cosh for the kill the bill protests.

I have donated the lot of £1490 raised as a profit, this is the total minus the expense of merch.

I have more merch. Patches small and large back patches, stickers and other bits. I will list these up within the next few weeks.

It has been good craic selling these for a good cause over the festival seasons, with the banter that naturally comes with it being some of the best i’ve had at festivals.

Thanks to all who bought things from me. Your money has gone to a worthy cause. X

I think it time tae divulge the saga behind the 'Antfaffist' idea, creation and realisation;

The birth of the sublime lunguistical off the cuff street theatre creation of 'Antifaffist' is a friend shanna d's quick fire attack at
sprocket perpetual faffery. Everyone faffs, i'm the worst when full pelt at festivals and being the seller of this tackle makes the banter just brilliant. At the time shanna d voiced her antifaffist remark, I said outright it's excellence was so mint that it needed printed on a t-shirt, so, sailing doon the faff canal for a few years, talking aboot it but never getting an infantecimal speck near getting anything done (does this sound familiar? HA!) I eventually got the idea realised.

Hitherto i hadnt printed t-shirts before, and had nae idea about digitally mutating the antifaffist logo to adorn the antifaffist 'nae fu**in aboot' text. I was gonna draw it like i would with everything of this sort but i was encouraged otherwise. So, being a computer cretin I managed tae get Noah
tae doctor the antifascist logo for me and here we are. I cautiously ordered 50 shirts from ma main man Hall
at Discordant Sun Shirts, in Leeds, West Yorkshire as he prints by hand and is an active supporter of the local and national underground DIY scenes (and lives in a van; live-in vehicles are my weak spot). At the time i thought i'd sell 5 t's tae mates and thats that. But alas, 50 shirts sold at Kelburn Garden Party, people happy tae pay tae support the cause. The shirts sort of took on the roll of crew t-shirts, which sent the idea intae a different level. So immediately after Kelburn I printed hoodies and t-shirts for the 6 weeks i worked at Boomtown Fair
Boomtown Crew Not quite sure how this scots banter would fair doon the road, i was nervous again about nae selling nout. But, they flew oot from the back of my red LDV fire Engine. At one stage there were around 20 t's and hoodies rocked by fellow boomtown crew at the daily morning brief. What i had left after i sold and sent tae a plethora of countries. I sold the last stock at in London. What i found the best banter was the fact the bands from abroad bought the merch, and all asked me what 'antifaffist' meant, and what 'nae fu**in' aboot' meant, and as i filled them in with humour they all got it and supported the idea. Raising money with smile!

So thats the tale of the Antifaffist 'Nae Fu**in Aboot' thing that it is. Ma daughter hates it as it has swearing in it. Ha!

I'll be as transparent as i can be. After expenses, I made £1350 profit after last years sales. I'm so happy with this, it absolutely quantum leaped my initial expectations. I assumed a few hundred pun at best, but thanks tae huge interest and wholehearted support we as a whole have raised substantial meaningful funds. I was immediately going tae donate this tae activists and the likes struggling tae defend them selves within the judicial system due tae lack of funds. I withheld the donation, keeping the funds as a float to commit financially tae the next print run without having tae front the money personally.

And the next print run is in... dont faff, get yersel some tackle! x
