Offloading / insoles I’m Kathy. I went to university to train to be a podiatrist and was lucky enough to get an NHS post post qualification. Which gave me such a great grounding and education. I’m happily still working for the NHS but have now branched out to expand my ever growing service in to the private sector. We have opened up “The Snug” to be able to provide a wide / full range of podiatry services. I can offer routine maintenance for nails / callous / corns / Verrucas / fungal nails. Nail surgery / ingrowing toe nail maintenance. Foot health education for diabetics. Diabetic reviews

NAIL SURGERY:

an ingrowing toe nail can cause significant pain and infections and need for antibiotics.

In some cases the only long term permanent solution is nail surgery. This is where part or all of the nail is removed. A chemical is then applied to the matrix ( where nail cells grow) to prevent the offending nail re causing a problem.
