Recently I've felt the calling to return to this powerful pranayama, meditation & Kriya. After practicing for just a few days I had the sense of coming home, an inner strength and lightness. For me it's the breath retention and the rhythm of this particular version that I can't wait to get to my mat for in the morning.

Do you see the warning signs and stop before reacting?

In kundalini yoga we stregthen the Insula cortex, the part of the brain responsible for sensory processing and emotional regulation. By regularly stopping and sensing into our body after postures we build a connection that can serve us as we go about our day, taking in outer world stimulus and challenges.

Couple this with becoming more aware of our inner world that regular meditation brings and we have a formula to live and act from a more conscious place.
