We’re proud to share that you can now access the morning-after pill (emergency contraception) free of charge from Penshaw pharmacy 💊

This new NHS England service means you no longer need to pay or book a GP appointment. Simply visit the pharmacy, where our trained pharmacist will offer a confidential consultation to help you choose the right option.

The morning-after pill works best the sooner it’s taken, so don’t wait, come and speak to us as soon as possible after unprotected s*x or contraceptive failure.
