Any men with low mood can go along to one of the Andy's Man Club meetings each Monday 7pm-9pm. Preston has 2 meeting venues - Fatima Health Centre (Preston North) and Penwortham Golf Club (Preston South). They are very welcoming and have helped thousands of men since starting up as a single group in Halifax in 2016.

Why not come along and give our groups a go this Monday? ☕️
Our groups run every Monday 7-9PM (except bank holidays), face to face in nearly 300 locations as well as online.
At our groups there’s no pressure to talk. If you don’t feel ready to talk yet, you can simply enjoy a brew, a biscuit and listen to others talk. ❤️
There’s NO booking and NO fees. Any man 18+ is welcome to just turn up.

What might just sting an adult could cause a devastating burn injury for a child.

👉 They’re small – so a burn will cover a larger proportion of their body than an adults
👉 Their skin is up to 15 times thinner than an adults – so burns are more severe
👉 Pulling away from heat isn’t automatic – Adults will pull away in a second. But young children haven’t learnt that yet, so contact can last much longer
👉 They’re curious – they love to reach and grab, whether it’s a toy or a hot cuppa

This week marks Dementia Action Week, , an annual week of activity run to help ensure more people get an early and accurate dementia diagnosis. We’re prioritising dementia diagnosis because it’s the first step in unlocking the help and support that people living with dementia need, when they need it.
