🗣️ PSA: If you ever have any issue with your order or deliveries please reach out to me. I’m not a big corporation, I’m one person running a small business and if you come to me with a problem I will do every single thing I can to help.
A couple weeks back I had a chargeback opened on my website, someone claiming their order hadn’t been delivered. Despite me appealing with photo evidence that the parcel had been delivered to their safe place, this morning I’ve been informed the banks have sided with them and their entire £42 order has been refunded and I have to pay a £10 charge for the privilege. I attempted to reach out to the customer to try and resolve the problem but didn’t receive a response.
In my heart I feel like this occasion was someone trying (and succeeding) to get products for free. But in the instance that there was a genuine problem I would’ve loved for that person to come to me first and give me the opportunity to make it right before jumping straight to getting the banks to refund it and charge me. If I ordered something and it hadn’t turned up I would just contact the business and enquire about delivery- but maybe that’s just me.
Anyway- moral of the story, I’d like to think I’m approachable and if anyone has any issues at all, please reach out and let me help. Without you all, my business would be nothing so your happiness is everything ❤️
