The first harvest of the year, observed as a Celtic and Gaelic celebration at the beginning of August as Lughnasadh (a pre-Christian ritual later known as Lammas).
The wheel of the year turns, but every day we can take a moment to let the busyness settle, rest in silence and give thanks for even what may seem the gift of each day. Gifts can be a smile given by a stranger, a sunrise, a bird song, a lovely meal, a tree in all its gloriousness.

I haven't posted in a while; it's been a busy time! 🌼 My weekend starts now, having just finished two days of giving treatments at and I'm looking forward to cooking up a yummy pasta with these fresh, organic tomatoes and basil gifted to me from one of my lovely clients today, picked from her land🙌
