Patient Notice: Limited Capacity Due to Weather

Due to the storm damage, some of our clinical staff are experiencing difficulty getting into work. As a result, we will be operating at limited capacity today.

While our phone lines remain open, we kindly ask patients to call only with urgent matters today. For routine enquiries, we would be very grateful if you could contact us next week.

Patient safety is our main priority. If you have an appointment booked for today and feel it is urgent, please take care when travelling to the practice. If you would prefer to rearrange your appointment, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

📢 Important Information About Ordering Medication Before Christmas!

The festive season is a very busy time for GP practices and pharmacies. To make sure you have the medication you need over the Christmas and New Year period, please order your repeat prescriptions in good time.

✅ Please order your regular medication by:
Monday 15th December. This allows enough time for the practice to process your request and for the pharmacy to prepare your prescription before the holiday closures.

🔔 How to Order

▪️Through your NHS App

▪️Via your pharmacy (if they usually request on your behalf)

▪️Through our online services or repeat prescriptions email

▪️By submitting your repeat prescription slip through the box in our reception waiting room

🌙 If you run out of medication when we are closed

If you urgently need medication outside our normal opening hours:

1. Call NHS 111 - They can assess your situation and help arrange an emergency supply if appropriate.

2. Some pharmacies may be able to supply an urgent short course - This depends on the type of medication and your circumstances. NHS 111 can direct you to an open pharmacy.

3. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999.

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

* are aged 65 or over (including those age 65 by 31 March 2026)
* aged 18-64 and have certain long-term health conditions
* are pregnant
* live in a care home
* are the main carer for an older or disabled person
* live with someone who has a weakened immune system

We have sent further text invites this week to those with a mobile number. Please call us on 330909 after 2pm if you meet the above criteria and would like your vaccine.
