We’re proud to share that Dr Jon Lock, one of our GPs is taking on a push‑up challenge in April to raise awareness of cancer and support vital research.

Regular physical activity is one of the simplest ways to look after your long‑term health. It helps maintain strength, supports mental wellbeing, and can play a role in reducing the risk of several long‑term conditions.

Cancer affects so many families in our community, and raising awareness is an important step in encouraging early detection and supporting ongoing research.

If you’d like to follow his progress or learn more about the challenge, you can do so here:

Easter bank holidays are coming up, and the surgery and local pharmacies will have reduced opening hours.

To make sure you don’t run out of your regular medication, please order your repeat prescriptions with plenty of time.

It is a busy period for our dispensary and there may be delays, so please allow extra time for us to process and dispense your medications.

You can order your repeat prescriptions via:
✔ NHS App
✔ Online services https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/l82047
✔ By dropping your request into the surgery

📞 Please note: our phone lines are limited for prescription requests.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and for helping us keep things running smoothly over the Easter period.

The Marazion bypass is closed, as is a part of the A30 around the St Erth area. Traffic through Marazion is slow/at standstill.

Please bear this in mind if you are travelling to the surgery for an appointment today and leave extra time.

If you cannot make your appointment today, please telephone the practice to let us know if possible.

Stay safe!

1400: The issues with our phone lines are now resolved.

0715: Our main phone lines are not working this morning but we have a divert system in place so we will be able to answer calls from patients but it can take a little longer.

Please bear with us this morning as our patient advisor teams work as quickly and safely as possible to take your calls.

We have asked our telephone company to work on the issues in the background to ensure it is resolved as quickly as possible.

The surgery still has no power and we have clinicians who are struggling to get in due to fallen trees.

For this reason we will be running a reduced service today.

We will keep patients informed as the day progresses.

Despite being reassured there would be access to the surgery at all times, the road was closed this morning which caused some access problems to the Surgery.

We have telephoned the contractor who have assured us that the road to the Surgery will be accessible despite the ongoing works.

If they need to completely block the road, they have assured us it will be for a short period only.

Any problems, please email us at marazion.enquiries@nhs.net

!Road Closure!

We have been made aware that there is a planned road closure at Gwallon Lane from Monday 27th to Friday 31st October, but we have been assured that vehicle access to the surgery will be possible.

Please allow for plenty of time that week to get to your appointments.

Thank you.

Do you have or care for someone with food allergy?

What are the research priorities for food allergy in children? The Food Allergy in Children Priority Setting Partnership aims to identify the Top 10 research priorities for food allergy in children.

915 patients and clinicians told us questions they want answered by future research, now have your say to pick the TOP 10 in the last survey!

This will ensure that researchers and those who fund research focus on what really matters to both patients and clinicians. Please complete the survey to get involved:
