CBT is not for everyone. Many prefer person-centred therapy (PCT) which works from the inside out, and is as individual as the client. Yet everywhere we look it seems that directive approaches like CBT are all that is offered. Clients deserve more choice. Please share, share, and share this:)

Yet more good evidence undermining the idea of diagnosis-based approaches for psychological distress. "The main findings of the research were:
- Psychiatric diagnoses all use different decision-making rules
- There is a huge amount of overlap in symptoms between diagnoses
- Almost all diagnoses mask the role of trauma and adverse events
- Diagnoses tell us little about the individual patient and what treatment they need"
