Yesterday we had our Christmas party! What a lovely time everyone had.
There was music, food, and a visit from Father Christmas.
Not forgetting the brilliant raffle.
A special thanks to Paula for spending so much time on the lovely buffet and to her elves Margaret and Michael! who gave up their time to come in and lend a hand. It was very appreciated.

Each year clients and staff make Christmas decorations for a tree at the Zennor Church Christmas Tree Festival. This year's theme is books and here is our tree on the theme of The Nutcracker. There are lots of amazing tree's at the festival so do pop in and have a look if you are in the area.

This Friday we have our Annual Christmas Party at Poppies for the clients we support.

You are all welcome to join us.

We put on a buffet and give out Christmas presents to the people we support, which have been carefully chosen by a member of staff on their team.

We have a raffle every year and this year the proceeds will be going towards our Hoist Fund.

Can't come to the party but still want to support??

❤️ You can still donate to the hoist fund via our Go Fund Me page which is attached below.
💚 You could donate a raffle prize, no offering is too small (drop something into Poppies or give to a staff member)
❤️ You can buy something from our Xmas craft stall up until Xmas Eve at 4pm (everything has been made by a staff member or client)
💚 You can simply like and share this post to show us some love and support
❤️ Pop in to buy a raffle ticket or see a staff member.

Special recognition to Hannah Underhill and Paula Cornish for organising and making most of the Xmas crafts, especially the beautiful wreaths this year!

Yesterday, we were very lucky to have the Keur Arwodha Kemmeneth community signing choir at Poppies. Look how amazing they were and how busy it was. It was such a lovely atmosphere. Got everybody in the Christmas spirit. 🌲🌲

The staff and clients here at Poppies/PRC Outreach have been busy making wreaths to sell.

As some of you may know, we are raising money for a hoist for Rebound Therapy for the clients we support, who at the moment have to travel all the way to St Austell for a 30 minute session, with no changing facilities.

We are working together with the Penzance Gym Club, who contacted us to say they had a trampoline on the way which was perfect for Rebound Therapy.

We now need to obtain a hoist and although we have raised over half of the amount needed, we still have a bit more to go which is £2500

All proceeds from the wreaths made will go towards the fund.
