Introducing, Clare Mcilwane, Dental Hygienist & Therapist!

Clare began her career in dentistry as a dental nurse in 1996 before pursuing a degree in dental hygiene and therapy at King’s College London, where she qualified in 2008! Clare then turned her attention to education, which led her to further specialise in clinical education, earning a masters' degree in the field.

In addition to her role at The Bay, Clare serves as an education associate for the General Dental Council (GDC) and is the Chief External Examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN), playing an integral role in shaping the future of dental education! 📚

Introducing Martin Murray - Dentist & Implantologist!

Martin is a highly skilled dentist with a focus on oral surgery and dental implantology. In addition to his clinical expertise, he serves as a member of the expert advisor panel for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and has contributed to global healthcare as a peer reviewer for the World Heath Organisation (WHO.) 🌍

Outside of dentistry, Martin is a dedicated athlete. A two-time world champion in Laser Run, he competes for the Pentathlon GB team, bringing the same level of precision and commitment to his athletic pursuits a he does his clinical work! 🏅

When she's not at work, Gemma enjoys socialising with friends and spending time with her family and dog Gazi!

Lolly!

Lolly joined The Bay in February 2020 and has been a valued part of the team ever since! She began her journey with us as a receptionist and eventually became practice manager!

After having her little girl last year,Lolly decided to step into an assistant managers role,so she can dedicate more of her time to her family.

She loves working alongside our amazing team and engaging with patients every day - always striving to create a welcoming environment and bring smiles to everyone she meets.

Outside of work, Lolly enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Very proud to say that we are sponsoring Harry Payne from Ludgvan Cricket Club! We look forward to seeing how the boys get on this season! 😍🏏

Hary joined the club in 2022 as a fresh faced 15 year old with little cricket experience as is considered one of the clubs top prospects, Harry opens the batting for the 2nd XI and has done for 2 seasons, he is highly consistent with the bat and already has over 500 runs for the club, two 50’s and a high score of 78.

He is also a highly talented and ever improving seam bowler with best figures of 4/45.

Harry has also appeared 19 times for the 1st XI so far in his young career and that will 100% be increasing very shortly.

Harry is a hugely popular figure in the club weather that be for his cricketing talents, hard work helping out around the ground or his Oasis singing with his brother in arms Ash…..
