You’re warmly invited to our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Courtlands Care Home on Friday 26 September, 10:30am–12:00pm.
Please feel free to bring a cake and/or make a donation, or simply join us for coffee, cake, and company. This year the Macmillan charity is especially close to our hearts, as several members of our team have been affected by cancer.
We’d love to see you there and appreciate your support.

Our residents enjoyed the lovely weather today. Our activity team worked hard in arranging a fun afternoon outside with plenty of shelter whilst having a variety of ice cream to choose from in our very own ice cream parlour, a paddle in the paddling pool and some band stand music playing.

We’re a friendly, supportive bunch based just outside Penzance (TR20 9PN), and we’re looking for caring, reliable people to join us in looking after our lovely residents. No experience is needed – just the right attitude and a kind heart. We’ll give you all the training and support you need to feel confident in your role, and we’re always here to help you grow, with opportunities to move into more senior positions if that’s something you'd like to aim for.
In return, we offer great pay starting at £12.60 an hour, plus enhanced rates for night shifts and overtime. You’ll also enjoy free parking, a free uniform and DBS, free meals, and access to discounts through the Blue Light Card. We can offer full-time or part-time hours.

Thank you to Helston Town Band who visited Courtlands recently, our residents and staff enjoyed the festivities of Flora Day.

80 years ago, on 8th May 1945, we celebrated and rejoiced that years of conflict and incredible hardship were finally coming to an end.
Thank you to those who served and still serve our country. For those we have lost, we will remember you.
We celebrated here at Courtlands with our residents enjoying the homemade buffet and signing along to the music being played on the piano which included God Save the King, It's a Long Way to Tipperary, The White Cliffs of dover, The Washing on the Siegfried Line and many more.
