Travelling conditions are still bad out there. Please stay safe and a big thank you to all our staff that battened down the hatches at Courtlands Care Home during the storm yesterday and overnight. To all Courtlands staff we thank you for your efforts on getting into work and please stay safe on your travels to and from work.

Today was filled with smiles, laughter, and a touch of spooky magic as our residents and team came together to celebrate Halloween! 🕸️✨

From pumpkin carving to dressing up and sharing treats, it was truly a day full of joy and togetherness. Moments like these remind us how special it is to see our home filled with laughter, creativity, and care. 💛

A big thank you to our wonderful staff for making the day so special — and to our residents, who never fail to bring warmth and happiness to everything we do. 🦋

You’re warmly invited to our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Courtlands Care Home on Friday 26 September, 10:30am–12:00pm.
Please feel free to bring a cake and/or make a donation, or simply join us for coffee, cake, and company. This year the Macmillan charity is especially close to our hearts, as several members of our team have been affected by cancer.
We’d love to see you there and appreciate your support.

Our residents enjoyed the lovely weather today. Our activity team worked hard in arranging a fun afternoon outside with plenty of shelter whilst having a variety of ice cream to choose from in our very own ice cream parlour, a paddle in the paddling pool and some band stand music playing.
