For World Mental Health Day, we've collected some important tips for how you can take care of your mental health. 👇

1) Practice Self-Care - Think about your basic needs – nutrition, hydration, rest, exercise, hygiene and play – how can you carve out more time for these needs every day?

2) Connect With Others - Talking to someone when you’re feeling down can help you feel better and give you the support you need.

3) Set Boundaries - It’s important to say no to things that are not essential or that you don’t have time for, and to prioritise your mental wellbeing.

4) Positive Thinking - This can help improve mental health by reducing stress and boosting self-esteem.

5) Practice Mindfulness - Mindfulness involves being present in the moment and paying attention to your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings.

Please share this post with others so we can help raise awareness about the importance of self-care and mental health. 🙏

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we join people around the world to raise awareness, share understanding, and stand against stigma.

At Real Life Options, we know that mental health matters just as much as physical health.
We believe in creating spaces where people feel safe, valued, listened to, and where it’s okay to not be okay.

✨ Whether it’s a kind word, a listening ear, or simply sitting beside someone, small moments of care can make a big difference.

Today and every day, we are committed to supporting the mental wellbeing of the people we support, our colleagues, and our communities.

💬 Let’s keep talking.
💬 Let’s keep listening.
💬 Let’s keep building a world where no one feels alone.

Friday is World Mental Health Day.

Led by the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), the theme for this year is ‘access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies.’

This theme puts the focus on protecting and supporting mental health amid global crises, conflicts and natural disasters.

Globally, the focus is on supporting disaster-affected people with their mental health. In the UK, charities are also raising awareness of how constant consumption of negative news can impact our mental health and emotional wellbeing.
