Weight Loss Injections Update...
National guidance has been shared to help the NHS provide tirzepatide for weight management. These guidelines explain that tirzepatide will be offered to limited groups of patients based on eligibility criteria, in stages over the next few years. This means that not all patients will be able to receive tirzepatide at this time.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB understand that there are many people who would like to use this medication as soon as possible, but we are required to follow the national plan. We ask for your patience as we work with local GP practices on how tirzepatide will be introduced and the best way to do this.

Please do not contact your GP practice to ask for tirzepatide for weight loss at this time. GP practices are very busy and handling extra enquiries will take up time that could be used for patient appointments. Once a local plan is agreed, access to the medication for patients who are eligible will made be available.

Following a temporary disruption to our services due to a local external problem causing lack of power, we are pleased to report we are now up and running and can accommodate appointments already booked as usual

Due to unforeseen external circumstances we are currently without power and are unable to access any of our systems or facilities. For this reason we are unable to accept any more online forms or requests for appointments or medication. If you have an urgent medical problem then please contact 111 or in an emergency 999.

For anyone who has a routine appointment already booked today, please do not come to the surgery & we will contact you to rearrange when we are up and running.

If you already have an urgent appointment with the duty doctor today, please attend as usual and we will do our best to accommodate your needs

Due circumstances beyond our control the Vending Machine is out of order. The engineer will be arriving tomorrow Wednesday 30th April to fix the error. We will text when your medication is ready to collect. Our Dispensary opening hours are 8:00 - 13:00 and 15:00 - 17:30
