what’s better than ō’s lavender?
according to recent research - nothing! thanks to clinical trials, ō’s lavender has been deemed the gold standard - it’s officially pharmaceutical grade!
☆ what does this actually mean?
‘pharmaceutical grade’ means consistent within a certain range (pharmaceuticals are created with a standard of ± 10% in the consistency of their chemical constituents).
ō’s lavender proved to be totally consistent over 4 years + over 100 batches! it’s chemical constituents only varied by 1.2% + 1.9% - an appropriate level to be both consistent + account for the natural variation that occurs in nature.
☆ why is this important?
researchers also tested the purity of lavender from different companies + found over 90% were adulterated (so even oils labelled pure / organic / natural etc are usually not!)
purity matters because what we inhale matters! when we use an oil on our bodies or diffuse it + breathe it in, it only takes minutes to enter our bloodstream + impact our cells. anything that isn’t pure will contribute to our toxic load + have negative side effects (the opposite of our intention!) whereas a pure oil (according to actual data, not just marketed as such!) will have a positive effect on every cell within our bodies.
☆ the future is exciting!
more research is underway! ō’s lavender is just the first to undergo these studies, but all of ō’s oils are of the same quality. this is the ō difference - purity, consistency + efficacy we can trust x
