Perth and Kinross Mental Health and Wellbeing Festival

Perth and Kinross Mental Health and Wellbeing Festival Our festival provides free support to improve your mental health and wellbeing.

We want to focus on breaking the stigma of mental health and normalise it as something that all people experience. This year, the festival will be held at The Horsecross in Perth on the 6th and 7th of August. Working alongside our partners, the weekend will be jam packed with workshops, talks, live music and various interactive activities. We hope that the festival will increase awareness of the support that is out there and make it more accessible to all. We’ve spent the last two days in Perth celebrating Mental Health and Wellbeing, and honestly, our hearts are full.

This year was all about "Self-Care," and it was so much more than just a catchy phrase; it was about making real connections.

A massive thank you to NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation for the funding that made this festival a reality. To our partners: thank you for helping us create a space where people could find the support they needed, all in one place.

A few special shout outs:

Our Volunteers: We truly couldn’t have pulled this off without your energy and hard work. Thank you for making everything so much easier.

Tayside Contracts: For keeping us fueled with those amazing breakfasts and lunches.

Perth and Kinross Council: For your efforts to support and promote this great event.

Grainger Public Relations & Sophie Gets Social: For helping us get the word out so beautifully.

Haud Yer Wheesht Silent Disco & Eden's garden Animal Therapy: For the smiles and the joy you brought to everyone visiting the event. We all had a great fun!

Perth Theatre and Concert Hall Team: For being so accommodating and helpful throughout the two days.

Our Media Partners: The Courier UK, Tay FM, That's TV Tayside , BBC Radio Scotland: For helping us to reach so many people and highlighting the amazing mental health and wellbeing support that is available in the community.

To our own team at Trauma HealingTogether, thank you for working so hard to bring this vision to life.

Most importantly: Thank you to everyone who showed up. Whether you came for information or to attend one of our self-care workshops you made the festival what it was.

See you next year, Perth!💚

The Perth mental health festival at Perth Concert Hall promoted self-care with workshops, stalls and animal therapy, uniting local communities for wellbeing.

Thank you Grainger Public Relations!

Just a reminder, if you're in or around Perth today or tomorrow, the Perth and Kinross Mental Health and Wellbeing Festival is underway at Perth Concert Hall! There's everything from a silent disco and animal handling sessions (tomorrow) to energy-saving, menopause, and bereavement support.

Fantastic to also catch one of the organisers talking about the *free* event on BBC Radio Scotland with fantastic John Beattie just minutes ago, alongside Tay FM news earlier today.

So proud to once again be promoting this year's festival and to get the organisers - Trauma Healing Together - some great, national exposure too.

Get yourselves along and take that next step on your own health and wellbeing journey ❤
