Wise words from a lovely lady 🩷💜xx
These past weeks building Bask at Tir na nOg have been some of the most uplifting, powerful and soul-stretching days I’ve had in a long time.
I’ve poured my whole heart into this space — lifting, planning, fixing, shaping and reshaping — and watching it come together has filled me with a kind of quiet, steady pride I haven’t felt in years.
Every small step forward has reminded me why I’m doing this… and how far I’ve already come.
But what I’m most proud of isn’t the physical progress.
It’s the way I’ve been looking after myself throughout it all.
✨ Early nights to honour my energy
✨ Rising before the world needs me, claiming that peaceful hour just for myself
✨ Taking slow, grounding breaths whenever my mind starts to spin
✨ Regulating my nervous system instead of letting stress take over
✨ Nourishing my body with good food
✨ Staying hopeful, positive and trusting the process
✨ Listening when my body asks for rest
✨ Returning to nature and stillness to reconnect with my centre
Somewhere in the middle of all the graft and glow, something shifted inside me.
I realised I’m stronger, calmer and more capable than I ever gave myself credit for.
And that taking care of myself isn’t a luxury — it’s the foundation that lets everything else grow.
If you’re reading this and going through your own challenging chapter, I hope my journey reminds you of this:
Don’t give up on yourself. Even when life feels uncertain. Even when you can’t see the full picture yet. Keep caring for your mind, your body, your heart — and the path will reveal itself.
Slow down when you need to.
Take the small wins.
Let the light back in, gently.
If my story can inspire even one person to choose self-care and keep moving towards their dream — especially in the darker moments — then all of this has already done its job.
Bask is nearly ready — and I can’t wait to welcome you into this space of warmth, healing and hope. 🌿🔥
