Here are some pictures from our Easter Holiday Club sessions. We will be releasing Summer dates in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Honey and volunteer Robyn back from a short hack to warm up for today’s lessons.

They encountered pheasants (IYKYK), squirrels, roadworks and drivers with Honey being foot perfect every step of the way.

We’re very lucky to have these safe ponies to look after our riders. 😊

A big thank you to Audrey Anderson with The Equine Touch for coming to work with Tina and Romeo over the weekend. Both thoroughly enjoyed their sessions, as you can tell from these photos of Romeo!

Audrey comes to visit us regularly with everyone getting to take their turn. It's an important part of their care as these ponies work very hard offering the service they do.

HORSE CARE - This activity is particularly good for disabled people that love being around horses but have a fear of riding them, or for someone that due to weight restrictions, is unable to ride.

As part of these sessions, we teach everything from how to brush a pony, to how to tack up and even catch your pony. Participants have the opportunity to work through grades and earn certificates.

Emilie has been attending regularly and is working towards her Grade 4 horse care. We're very lucky her Grandad got these great photos during one of her sessions with Activity Leader Robyn.

Sessions are priced at a minimum donation of £12.00 per person for 30 minutes.

TEA WITH A PONY - Are you or someone you know living with dementia or a long term health condition such as a terminal illness, chronic mental health, mobility issues, or a learning disability?

Our Tea with a pony sessions offer a great opportunity to come along and interact with our ponies after enjoying a cup of tea and a sweet treat. 🍰

We ask for a minimum donation of £10.00 for one person and a carer. Additional family members can join for a minimum donation of £5.00 per person.

PONY RIDE AVAILABILITY - FEBRUARY 🐴

Suitable for anyone over the age of 4 years old to adult, this 15-minute experience is an ideal introduction to horse riding or for anyone looking for a leisurely stroll on a pony. It's suitable for disabled riders who are unable or who do not want to ride in a group lesson (subject to medical conditions). It's also open to non disabled participants.

We generally use the outside trail around our pond but will use our inside arena if the weather is poor.

Maximum riding weight is 11st for balanced riders.
Cost - donation of £10.00 per rider.

Thank you Hugh from Loch Leven Equine Practice for coming to give Bullseye his injection for his sweet itch.

For our non horsey followers this is an allergy which Bullseye has to flies. This is why you’ll always see him sporting a buzz cut and a fly rug in the warmer months. 🦟

❗ Book a kids birthday party for £150 before 31/1/25 ❗

We're about to increase the cost of a birthday party to £180, but you've still got a couple of days to book at our 2024 price of £150.

Our parties include:
🐴 45 minute session on a pony with basic riding and fun party games on horseback
😊 Leaders to assist so no previous riding experience is necessary
🎀 The chance to groom and interact with a pony
🎂 The use of a private room for party food and your own entertainment

Pony parties are suitable for non-disabled and disabled individuals (subject to meeting riding criteria) as we can adapt the day to suit.

Riding weight limit: 11 stone
Duration: Up to 2 hours
For 6 children including the host
Suitable for kids aged 5+

You are welcome to bring your own food & drink. Alternatively, we can provide kids party food boxes at an additional cost of £10 each (includes options for vegetarians and those with allergies).
