International Cat Day 🐾

Our Funeral Arranger Debbie has kindly shared with us her cat Charlie aka Ginge!

“Charlie is 15 now and I got him at only 5 weeks old. At that time we had a cat named Lucy who lived to the ripe old age of 16. We sadly lost her 3 years ago.

Charlie is a very independant cat who loves basking in the sunshine and has the loudest purr!”

Cats have a special way of curling into the quiet spaces of our lives especially when we’re grieving.

They don’t need to speak. They are simply soft fur, gentle purrs, slow blinks that say, I’m here.

In moments when words feel heavy, a cat’s presence can be a reminder that comfort can come in the smallest, warmest forms.

Dewar
Peacefully on 20th July 2025 at Balhousie Coupar Angus Care Home, Elizabeth, aged 76 years. Loving wife of David, beloved mum of Graham and Neil and their partners Pauline and Lucy and much loved granny of Molly, Olivia and Archie as well as sister-in-law and aunt. The funeral service will be held on Thursday 7th August 2025 at Perth Crematorium at 2.30pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Please wear bright colours if you wish. Family flowers only please, but a retiring collection will be taken for Dementia charities.
