🧍‍♂️ Quick Tip Tuesday: The 30-Second Chest Opener 💪

If you spend most of your day sitting, scrolling, or working at a desk — this one’s for you 👇

Over time, your chest muscles tighten, your shoulders roll forward, and your upper back starts to ache.
Here’s a simple stretch you can do anywhere to open things back up:

🔹 The Doorway Chest Opener
1️⃣ Stand in a doorway with your elbows bent to 90°.
2️⃣ Place your forearms on the doorframe.
3️⃣ Step one foot forward and gently lean until you feel a stretch across your chest.
4️⃣ Hold for 30 seconds, breathe deeply, and repeat 2–3 times a day.

This easy reset helps:
✅ Improve posture
✅ Reduce shoulder and neck tension
✅ Restore mobility for pressing and lifting movements

Small habits = big results over time.

Here’s a big misconception I hear all the time:

“Sports Therapy is just a fancy name for sports massage, right?”

Not quite! While massage can be part of a treatment, Sports Therapy goes several steps further.

Here’s the difference 👇

🎆 Don’t let your body be a chain reaction this Bonfire Night! 🎇

When one area of your body isn’t moving well, it can ignite problems somewhere else — just like a spark setting off a firework chain.

That constant “tight” feeling in your hamstrings or shoulders? It’s often not because they need more stretching… it’s because something else isn’t doing its job.

Here’s what could really be going on 👇
🔥 Weakness: Muscles tighten up to protect an unstable joint.
💥 Poor movement patterns: Overcompensation in one area builds tension elsewhere.
🎯 Postural habits: Sitting or moving the same way every day tells your body to “lock down” certain muscles.

This weekend, I was down in London completing a course in Dynamic Assisted Stretching at the London School of Massage – and I can honestly say, this is a game-changer.

💥 Whether you're an athlete, gym-goer, or just someone feeling tight and stiff, this type of hands-on, assisted stretching offers incredible benefits. It improves mobility, reduces tension, improves circulation and helps you move and feel better instantly. I experienced the treatment myself over the weekend and was blown away by how effective it was – both immediately and in the following days
