Wellbeing Advisor at Weleda, Perth - Scotland

Why did I become a Wellbeing Advisor? When I was a teenager in Germany I worked in a small health food shop after school. I remember a kindly Wellbeing Advisor telling me about Weleda’s eco-friendly and ethically sourced products (well before it became fashionable to talk about that kind of thing). All I could think about was, “Wow, her skin looks so smooth and soft”, even though she was clearly o

lder than my mum and had grey hair… I started using their products and never looked back. So here I am now feeling just as passionate about the Weleda way of life. They still hold true to their principles, putting people and the environment over profit. Being a scientist by trade I spend a fair bit of time making sure that what they say on the tin, is in the tin. I love being able to track the products from seed to packet. But I always endeavour to learn more, so if you do have questions fire them my way and I will hunt for answers! For those of you who are interested, Weleda’s approach is based on the Rudolf Steiner / Anthroposophical teachings which I have been dipping in and out of over the years. And living on a small holding, I am always interested in new gardening techniques; we have started to experiment with biodynamic gardening methods (which are part of the Weleda way of growing plants).

… And to be honest, the kids and I just love pampering ourselves with all the nice smelling things that come in all these pretty coloured packages ;-)

So I hope you can see it is not just about selling their products. When the ad popped up on my Facebook feed ‘about joining our growing UK team’ I didn’t need much convincing. I look forward to sharing this journey with you :-)
