Placing filler too superficially can result in uneven, lumpy or even blue lips 😢

Blue? Yes… blue!

This is called the Tyndall Effect - which is a result of the filler partials scattering blue light wavelength which are seen through the thin skin if placed too superficially.

Usually this will need to be dissolved and it’s mainly seen in l the under eye area. We are seeing more and more patients come in for Polynucleotide as they suffer from “dark circle” but on assessment we can see that it is filler causing the blue/dark under eye. Even 10 year old tear troughs can still be present.

This patient have some lumps of superficial lip filler which we were able to lance out. How satisfying!

👏🏻 Our beautiful patient has lost a lot of weight recently and she was looking amazing but she was not happy how her face has changed, she felt she looked tired.

This is normal for rapid weight loss, especially in the face region. As we loose weight on our face we can notice more hollowing and sagging of the skin. This becomes more noticeable as our skin ages due to fat pad depletion and collagen loss in the skin.

✨We made a treatment plan to get her feeling herself again!

Using a little dermal filler we replaced volume loss which help lift and soften.

Excuse the plaster, one part wouldn’t stop bleeding 😂

It isn’t about luck. It’s about hard work, believing in yourself and pushing through the tough times.

People may look at you from the outside and think wow isn’t she soo lucky. But what they don’t see is what goes on in the background or the many many years of hard work.

I am fortunate for my mindset, my ability to not let things/people phase me, my support network and my work ethic.

Hard work = Success.

Christmas Toy Appeal 🎄

This Christmas at Bespoke & Crystal Clear we are spreading a little extra joy to children who need it most. We are looking to donate Christmas Gifts to children locally and we need your help.

Every child deserves to open something on Christmas Day and experience that Christmas Magic.

Every small act of kindness makes a big difference. We will be accepting unwrapped Christmas gifts for children aged 0-18

- PJ & socks
- Toiletries
- Selection boxes

Please donate unwrapped (can be in gift bag) this is so it is easier to sort the presents out age suited.

We will be working along side local charities to make sure these gifts go to the special kids who deserve a wonderful day.

Please hand any presents into the clinic with Emma or Marianne before 15th December.
