👋🏻 Hi everyone, I thought I’d introduce myself properly…
I’m Emma Newlands, and I’ve been working in skin and laser treatments since 2014, and in aesthetics since 2018. I have a BSc in Nursing, a PgDip in Aesthetic Medicine, and MSc Module in Independent Prescribing.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, with a few ventures under my belt over the years, from being a private 1-1 swim coach, mobile beauty therapist, to running a training academy. The aesthetic, skin and laser industry is my passion and I’ve put my everything into the business over the years.
Outside of the clinic, I have a beautiful daughter Mila, husband Ross and pup Bear. I have an artistic streak and actually applied to art college - creativity’s always been part of who I am. I also used to swim competitively and actually won a bronze in the Scottish Nationals. As an adult I was diagnosed with ADD, which now, many aspects of my life make sense. It’s helped shape how I connect with others, how I work, and understand how I always have to challenge myself. I am also quite spiritual (my husband calls it “witchcraft”) so crystals, angel cards, spirits I’m allll ears.
In 2023, I opened the doors to 16 Dundee Road, a five-year renovation that tested many people patience 😂, but it was worth the wait. The clinic is modern, professional, and welcoming from the moment you step inside. Fun fact: the building was originally Kinnoull Primary School back in 1804 - and legend has it they rolled witches down the hill beside it… maybe that’s what drew me to it! 😂
My goal is always to treat every client holistically, focusing not just on the aesthetic, but on the person as a whole. Whether you’re coming in for a confidence boost, a quiet moment of self-care, or even a cry and a laugh—I’m here for all of it. I’m constantly learning, growing, and staying ahead of the game to ensure I provide every one of my clients with the best care.
