At the start of October we had some very sad news that our very special Ken Watkins had passed away. Ken co-founded Blackhills with Paul in 2007, where they had the idea of a dual purpose Clinic and built it up to where is it now. Ken retired in 2014 and was missed from the minute he left.
Ken was cared for at Cornhill MacMillan Centre in Perth so a few members of staff decided to do a sponsored walk, with all proceeds going to Cornhill. They set off on Saturday 15th November on a 6 mile walk, with kids and dogs in tow. Thankfully it was a beautiful but chilly day. Lots of memories shared of Ken throughout the walk, which involved a lot of laughing as Ken was always full of fun & humour.
We don’t have an updated total yet but thankful for donations we have received.

We are required to close Blackhills Clinic today, Friday 24th January, due to adverse weather warnings. We will reopen on Monday. If you need to call us please call 01764 66 44 46 and leave a voicemail and we will respond to you on Monday.

Blackhills Specialist Dental Clinic located in Aberuthven, near Perth, brings together a team of Consultants, Specialists and Nurses. This means when you choose to have treatment at Blackhills, you may often be seen by more than one Specialist. Which allows us to carry out almost all treatment within Blackhills using the most up to date skills, materials, techniques and equipment.

Blackhills Specialist Dental Clinic only provides private dental treatment

We have a comfortable patient area with hot and cold refreshments and wireless internet so you can browse or work while waiting for an appointment or a family member having treatment. We have 3 fully equipped surgeries, a sterilisation room and a dedicated X-ray room which has a CT Scanner. In addition we have an operating surgical microscope and can provide Sedation for those who are a little more nervous.
