We have two spaces for our partnership project with Perthshire Trekking Centre .
The pony paths project is a 6 week block Tuesdays 10:30-1:30 ( starting 26th of May ) held at Perthshire trekking centre just outside Methvan .

This is a unique opportunity for kids to have an all round experience . Riding , ground based activities and the experience of what it’s like caring for a pony . This isn’t just a pony camp or own a pony day , but focusing on development , wellbeing , confidence and much much more .

This will run for 6 weeks on a Tuesday during the day .

Nothing like landing back at Glasgow at 8pm in bed by 11:30pm and straight back out to sessions 😍😍.

These ponies and young people are my passion .

Even during the holidays we like to try keep regular sessions running for a little stability in young people’s lives . Holidays and change of routine can be such a hard time for some and we are here for you 💪🦄

We keep our group size small , learning fun and child led.

Good morning all 🦄.

Reminder we will be closed from tomorrow Wednesday 1st of April - Wednesday 8th of April.

Pony club for Wednesday 8th of April will be Thursday 9th of April 2:30-3:30.

Catch up pony club session will be Saturday 11th of April 1pm-2pm .

Also payments for pony club and outdoor learning will be due tomorrow 1st of April 💗.

Today we had our last outdoor learning sessions before the Easter holidays!

We welcomed one of our learners parents who chatted to us about the Easter story. The children in true spirit showed great curiosity and acted out the story in minds and manes fashion!

Today our focus went to the difference between horses being shod and barefoot. (The differences between wearing horse shoes and allowing the environment to take care of the horses hooves)

At the end of the explorations we asked our learners if they thought being shod or going barefoot would feel better. And they all gave mixed answers. Our conclusion was that it comes down to works best for each individual horse. Curiosity without judgement - brilliant 🐴✨🐴✨

Today we moved our horse inspired learning from the highland pony to the Icelandic horse!

The Icelandic horse impresses breeders with their astute observation. So we practiced ours in becoming horse detectives! 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️
We spent a geography session looking at Iceland and how many volcanoes it has. We made our own volcanoes and put them into a rift zone to watch them erupt!

We still have more to learn from Icelandic horses, which we will do next week alongside Easter activities!

Just an update for all . I will speak to everyone individually also .

For the first week of the Easter holiday and a few days before Minds and Manes will be closed . I am away on a family holiday and hopefully find some sunny weather ☀️🕶️.

My diary is currently filling for 2027 projects .

If you’re an organisation , school , group or family and wish to have your own project this is your time to book provisions dates for 2027.

2026 is pretty much full with only 3 weeks left in September for a “mini” project .

2027 I have 6 months of the year left to book and then we will be full for 2027 😍.

The support show over the last year is outstanding and none of this would be possible without our amazing clients ❤️💕🦄
