Dyslexia.
Firstly… who is evil enough to name something and spell it like that… for people who struggle with spelling anyway?! 😅
Secondly — something you might not know about me.
Hi, I’m Vicky 👋🏻
And I’m dyslexic.
I’m sharing this because it helps explain why I communicate the way I do.
If you’ve ever come for an appointment, you’ll know I will ALWAYS go back over anything we’ve discussed — whether that was by message or on the phone.
That’s intentional.
Being dyslexic means I like to double check I’ve fully understood you…
And that I haven’t been misunderstood when I’m explaining something to you.
Clear communication matters to me.
Your care matters to me.
But I’m also sharing this for anyone who has faced extra learning needs, extra challenges, or been told they might not “amount to much.”
Set the goal.
Go and get it.
Do not let additional needs define your limits.
When I was younger, my parents were told I’d never make anything of myself.
I think we’ve proved them wrong 💪🏻
And if you need someone in your corner telling you that you can — this is it.
You’ve got this 🤍
