The air may be crisp, but the blue sky and warm glow of the sun are still there, just as they are within us.

The sun always shines eventually… and so will you.
Take time to care for your mind and body, wrap yourself in warmth, and allow space for rest, balance and healing.

So yesterday… a thing happened! ✨

I am so happy to share that I’ve officially completed my Reiki Master – Shinpiden Level.

This journey has been beautiful, inspiring and profound. A personal journey that has supported me through so much change, growth and healing. To now step into this next level feels incredibly special. I’m truly grateful to my amazing teacher and the guidance and energy that continues to push me forward.

I’m feeling so excited for what’s next. Reiki has supported me in so many beautiful ways, and I can’t wait to weave this deeper level of energy into the work I do within The Zen Zone.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged and believed in me.

I see you. Smiling on the outside, crumbling on the inside.
You hold it together for everyone else…
but who’s holding space for you?

✨ Reiki & Chakra Healing ✨

Energy is constantly flowing through us — but when life feels heavy, that flow can become blocked or unbalanced. Reiki helps to restore harmony, releasing stagnant energy and bringing balance back to the mind, body, and soul.

During a Reiki session, I sometimes use chakra crystals to gently support this process. Each crystal resonates with a specific energy centre, amplifying the healing and deepening relaxation.

It’s a beautiful reminder that when our energy is aligned, we feel calmer, lighter, and more connected to ourselves again.

💜 Allow yourself to pause, breathe, and realign.

My Story

Hi, I’m Karen and back in 2018 I made the life changing decision to set up my own Holistic Therapy business.

I have always been passionate about helping people and worked for the NHS and Education Sector for many years. It got to a point in my life whereby I wanted to create a better work-life balance for myself, husband, daughter and pooches.

I completed my training whilst continuing to work part time, and in 2019, The Zen Zone was born. However, I must give credit to my daughter as she came up with this fabulous name! (Zen: a feeling of peace and relaxation).

I am passionate about good nutrition, health, wellness, natural healing treatments and products. I really wanted to concentrate on the well-being of people and that was what inspired me to become a Holistic Therapist. Not only that, my love of organic skincare also lead me to become a Consultant for Neal’s Yard Organic Remedies.
