We can talk about the benefits of Biatain® Silicone with 3DFit® Technology, but the real impact is seen in its clinical performance. That’s exactly what nurses observed when Biatain Silicone was applied to wounds in treatment failure during an observational study exploring its effectiveness.

So, what did the Biatain Silicone observational study reveal?

🗓️ 73% of wounds healed or were progressing towards healing in a median of only 22.5 days (1)

👀 88% of nurses and 85% of patients saw improved wounds (1)

👍 Nurses saw significant reduction in wound area and exudate pooling (1)

The SDMA invites you to take part in an important survey (https://www.coloplast.to/sdma-survey) on local formularies for medical devices.

This survey, launched by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), aims to gather insights that will help develop good practice guidance for the creation and use of local formularies for prescribing medical devices used at home or in the community.

Who should respond?

- Integrated Care Board Pharmacy Leads
- Suppliers and trade associations
- Specialist nursing societies
- Patient representative groups (including patients and carers)
- NHS trusts, GP practices, charities
…and others who may receive this via cascade.
