This beautiful spot was my little niche for my overnight vigil on Wednesday at the Shining Cliff. What a wonderful deeply moving experience dancing in the stream by moonlight, connecting with Gaia while feeling very supported by the warm of the communal fire and the beat of the drum. Bringing back some very special red beads. Big thanks to the Forest, the stream and the lovely woodland people who journeyed with me throughout the Becoming Ecological course over the past year 💚🌳🪾

Our next FireCircle Ecotherapy gathering is this Wednesday 11 June 8.00-9.30pm here at inSpiral - Broadway, Peterborough.

Our FireCircle is a space for mental health practitioners to explore and share information and ideas about working in an eco systemic way, especially at the time of our Planet’s climate breakdown.

📣 This is a gentle reminder that our October FireCircle is this Wednesday 9th, 8.00-9.30pm at inSpiral Sensory Garden in Peterborough. inSpiral FireCircle is a reflective space for monthly gatherings of mental health professionals to explore ecotherapy practice.

🔥 Our September fireside gathering was intimate and wonderful. We explored the theme of the masculine and feminine in our lives, and it was a privilege to share with others in such a deep way under the dark wet sky.

🧘‍♀️ For our upcoming gathering I invite you to reflect upon the theme of ecological self. In the words of Arne Naess, The founder of Deep Ecology, “…the ecological self is not only the human self - it is also the Self or soul of the world, the anima mundi, that awakens us to our full humanity when we know, palpably, in our very bones, that there is a selfhood far vaster than our own in which we live and have our being, and to which we are ultimately accountable. “

I would also like to bring you an offering of a poem by Mary Oliver – “Wild Geese”. As you engage with this poem, just notice what happens inside you, what stirs.
