Each client will have a bespoke plan when it comes to aesthetics, which can only be achieved by means of a holistic assessment.

The ageing face in the picture above shows the fat pads shrinking and separating which then descend down due to the pull of gravity resulting in loss of fullness and flattening of the cheeks, hollowing around our temporal and peri-orbital areas. As a result, the fat then sits lower down causing prominent nasolabial folds and jowling.

Rather than starting by injecting in the folded areas we now recognise that we must restore volume where the fat pads once sat and have been lost. We usually start to treat the cheeks and temporal areas to give a nice lift to the face before we treat the naso-labial folds and lower face.

I am in a fortunate position to be working in aesthetics full time so have the experience to guide you on your journey. I also work alongside an excellent clinical team in a Cambridge clinic which offer technological treatments that may be more suitable or work in combination with injectables.

Many factors lead to the ageing face which means many methods may have to be used to restore volume and give the face a more youthful refreshed appearance.
