Hopefully everything feels brighter and easier when it is warm and the sun is out. However, this is definitely not always the case, and in fact the expectation of others that you should be able to feel better can actually add pressure and make it worse.
It is not wrong if you aren't feeling sunny in side you. However, if it has been a long while, or you struggle to find your sunny side, reach out for support. There are people there who want to support you and asking for help may be the first positive step towards a brighter you (no matter what the season).

We don't know it all and there is much to learn, but what and how we may choose to implement changes is best left to our decision.
To help make lasting change, we need to put things in place that work for us. That seem right for how we operate, that are logical to our existing patterns.
The changes and actions that we decide to make are far more likely to have a lasting impact than if someone tells us what they think we should do!
We are all different and change has to come from us, at our own pace. You choose to want to change, so you also need to decide (step by step) how you want to work to achieve that change.
The hardest part is taking the first step. After that it is about building up momentum.

Just stop. When did you last do just a bit of day dreaming?
Just letting your mind wander, just for two minutes. Ignoring all that is around you as you drift off staring out the window and just giving yourself a tiny bit of still, of calm.
Day dreaming is an extremely productive activity.
It offers you a mini reset. It offers your mind a chance to regroup, evaluate and solve.
Your brain is your greatest asset, so why not let it work for you, simply by allowing it a little uncluttered space and time to process.
Your day will be better for it and you will be better for it too.

Yes, we are half way through 2025.
A great point to step back and take a moment to reflect on where you are now, and how far you have travelled since January. I'm sure that life will have thrown you curve balls and many of your plans have had to change. That is just how things are, but be pleased for the progress you have made; the relationships you have invested in; the effort you have put in; the opportunities you have embraced.
There is still plenty of time to make progress, make changes, learn and grow.
Just take a moment to be pleased with what you have achieved and recognise what you want to do to keep moving forward in a way that you want to.
And no matter what gets in the way, keep turning up and being you because you are amazing and you can be amazing every day.

We can't always be on top form. Every day can be an opportunity, but it can also be a struggle.
When the world is feeling on top of us, it is sometimes just a case that the best we can do is just keep turning up. You may not understand how or why things are like this at the moment. It hasn't always been like this, but at the moment it is. You are not alone feeling like this and you do not have to be alone to get through it.
Yes you are going through the motions, and masking your inner turmoil but it can change for the better, because you keep turning up.

Our minds impact our bodies and our bodies impact our minds.
If we want to live healthier, it will be far more likely to happen if we combine changing how we think in combination with making lifestyle changes.
There is no silver bullet, and how we achieve our goals is very individual to us.
I'm really excited to be planning a course to help support people who want to make positive changes to improve how they live, make better choices and feel more comfortable with themselves (mentally and physically).
It will be an online course covering various topics along with a relaxation element. Ultimately the aim is for you to better understand how the mind/body interacts, develop a personalised plan for you to move towards your goals, feel better about yourself and the actions you can take to better live your life.

Invest in yourself. Take time out to reflect, reset and restore.
Constantly operating with a "mental overdraft" is not viable longterm. Everyone has stressors in their lives, and yes you may feel you are coping with all you have on, but are you living, enjoying, flourishing?
Time and energy is limited, so take stock of where you are and what you really want so that you can spend your time and energy towards what makes you happy and helps you achieve your goals.

Try some different recipes, find a new author to read, go to a different park for your walk. All small changes that keep you learning, exploring, and engaged.
It is too easy to slip into routine, unless you make it your routine to try new stuff and keep the brain active.
If you keep mixing it up, it is natural that you will become more focussed on the moment (mindful) as there will always be new things to be interested in.
Make a point of trying something new/different today.

Don't put off starting. Do it today. Just decide on one little thing. Keep it simple, keep it small, keep it manageable....

Don't put off starting. Do it today. Just decide on one little thing. Keep it simple, keep it small, keep it manageable. Commit to practicing it as often as you can and keep reminding yourself about it. Be pleased each time you do it and remember it is something you want to become normal. When it has become your normal habit, celebrate your success and recognise that you can make changes, one at a time that add up to a huge difference. Keep moving towards more of who you want to be.

Life can be really hard. We can often make it worse by getting wrapped up in our own thoughts and become our own worst enemy. Being negative, beating ourselves up, lowering our self-esteem to rock bottom. It can happen to anyone; we are all human.

Really excited to share with you that I am busy working on moving forward too. Plans are now becoming reality as work has begun on the site for my new Therapy Room. I am in the process of building a dedicated therapy room in the garden of our house so that I can practice from a space dedicated to supporting clients to move forward in their lives. I am passionate about what can be achieved and I can't wait to get into the new space. There is still quite a bit to be done so in the meantime I will post occasional updates of progress.

Hey, it's Monday. Beginning of a week for many people.
If the week ahead is not appealing to you, doesn't give you the a sense of anticipation and enthusiasm, maybe you are ready to think about change?
