🌸🌿 1 Week to Go! 🌿🌸

There’s just one week left before entries close for our annual gardening competition, Country Court in Bloom - then it’s over to judges Nicole Purnell from Lottie and Natalie Garry from Dance-Sing to help us choose this year’s winners! 🏆💜

From vibrant flower pots to calming sensory spaces, our residents, staff, and local communities have worked hard to transform their gardens this summer. 🌼

🎶 As part of our Music Month this July, residents and staff at The Laurels in Draycott, Cheddar enjoyed a fantastic silent disco!

There were plenty of smiles, some great dance moves, and lots of fun had by everyone. A lovely way to come together and enjoy the music – even if it was a little quieter than usual! 😊💃🕺

July is 🎼Music Month 🎹 at Country Court!

We caught these wonderful ladies from Ruby Lodge Care Home, having an impromptu sing-along around the piano last week. Music is a fantastic tool for sparking memories and enriching people's lives. 🎶

In our care homes this month, we've been welcoming local community choirs, holding karaoke sessions, joining musical events in our local areas and using music and movement resources from our partners Dance-Sing!

Country Court has been selected as one of the UK’s Top 10 Large Care Providers as part of the inaugural Lottie Awards.
In addition, 💫 Woodlands House Care & Nursing Home 💫in Colliers Wood has been included in the Top 10 'Care Expert Choice' award as well as making it into the Top 100 UK Care Homes! Woodland House stood out for Operational Efficiency, not to mention the fantastic care and support provided by our dedicated care team.

This week has been . 💛
In our care homes we strive to create and maintain local connections for our residents with people living in the area who may be feeling isolated or alone. To help tackle loneliness in our local communities we've joined the scheme, opening up our care homes as welcoming spaces for people to come together over a cup of tea and slice of cake. The 'chat and natter' tables at our regular coffee mornings provide the opportunity to meet new people in a safe and friendly setting.🫖🍰
