Our lovely Client Liaison Manager, Milly, headed out with wonderful residents for ‘Cake 4 Kindness’ - spreading sprinkles of kindness with homemade cupcakes to incredible services and charities. We created smiles and connected with both new faces and familiar ones. A truly heart-warming day filled with joy and community🍰🤝

✨ Get ready for lots of treasured moments we’ve captured this week! ✨

We were treated to the wonderful KJ & The Catt that got everyone up and dancing! Our Sous Chef and Housekeeper couldn’t resist a little boogie with the residents too!💃🕺

We also enjoyed a cider-tasting session with raising a cheerful toast together and snacks🍎🥂

Our visit to the Extra Time Hub with the Peterborough United Foundation was another highlight. We brought along a cake that went down a hit and had a fantastic time socialising🍰🤝

Back at home, Head Chef Ant, wowed us with a bread-making demonstration that was incredibly popular👨‍🍳🥖

We were delighted to welcome back Charlie and Rehanna Live Music Duo for a lively afternoon full of energy, classic tunes, tapping feet with the joyful company of the Wednesday Afternoon Group Stilton🎶💛

💛Children in Need Morning💛

We smashed our 25-mile challenge by completing 30 miles on the static bike, our amazing residents did some legwork along with staff and neighbours, making it a true community effort!🚴‍♂️💪

We enjoyed a bake sale, lots of games, quizzes, raffles, and plenty of cake, drinks & fun🍰✨
Our brilliant chefs tried and tasted the entries for the cake competition and announced the winner! 👩‍🍳🏆

Thank you to everyone who took part that helped raise £100 to Children in Need and teamwork to make the day such a success!🌟

Remembrance Day 2025🎖️💂‍♂️

This week our residents took part in heartfelt Remembrance Day activities. We were honoured to visit Hampton Lakes primary for a special assembly and joined in the two-minute silence to remember those who served. Over the weekend, we attended a beautiful service at CSK Church, reflecting on the sacrifices made for our freedom🪖🇬🇧

Back at home, we’ve been busy making poppies and proudly admiring our Remembrance display at the front of the building. Lest we forget❤️

Bonfire Night magic! 🎇✨ We had saxophonist Zechariah Seekins to set the mood, made chocolate sparklers, feasted on hotdogs & chocolate fudge cake and admired the fireworks from indoors. A perfect 5th November evening! 🔥🎶🍫🌭

Our residents enjoyed a lovely outing to the Wednesday Afternoon Group Stilton where our homemade chocolate muffins went down a real treat! Over the weekend, we celebrated Halloween in style with spooktacular decorations, biscuit and muffin decorating and a fun “Find the Hidden Ghost” competition for staff, complete with sweet treats! 👻🕸️

The community and residents team have been admiring our beautiful outdoor poppy display, and we’ve had plenty of smiles with classical bingo and a fantastic first visit from Purple Angels, who filled the afternoon with music and dance💜🎶

We’re now turning our focus to Remembrance Day next week, as we continue preparing meaningful displays to honour and remember❤️🇬🇧

❤️ Poppy Memorial for Remembrance Day ❤️

We’re proud to share our wonderful Poppy Memorial created in honour of the upcoming . A huge thank you to our amazing neighbours at Hampton Lakes primary, who spent their time crafting these heartfelt poppies for our display, alongside our fantastic residents👏❤️

We’d now love for the rest of our community to get involved! Create your own poppy and bring it to our Reception, where we’ll proudly attach it to our memorial.

Feel free to take a photo with our display and tag us until end of November🔄Let’s come together in the true community spirit to remember those who bravely fought for our freedom🇬🇧🎖️
