Whether you’re looking for 24-hour live-in care or some extra support little and often, at Helping Hands we arrange and manage home care that is completely unique to you and your situation. Still family owned and run, we draw on over 28 years of experience, to ensure that the very best standards of support are delivered by our carers to each and every one of our customers. Our team provide everything from companionship, housekeeping, through to providing more complex healthcare support for people with conditions such as MS, spinal injuries, Parkinson's, acquired brain injuries and those that have suffered a stroke. At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care.
