I’m going to tell you something you might not want to hear

Your dream body could be HEAVIER than your dream scale weight

Ladies if you want to look ‘toned’ then this means you need to have muscle

Therefore there will come points where losing weight should not be your focus

When Catherine joined Rise Coaching she wanted to build muscle and create a more hourglass figure

Catherine’s a petite woman and had little experience strength training prior, therefore the first phase was to build on her training knowledge and performance so that she could build muscle optimally

20 weeks in and the gains are showing already ❤️‍🔥

Half marathon PB 🏃🏼‍♀️🥹

That was bloody hard 😂 Dehydration and heat kicked my ass but powered through and got the exact split pace I wanted! Definitely helped seeing .fit at the last KM as well ✨

12 weeks prep done and dusted and very happy with the outcome at 1:54 and a 2 minute PB 🙌🏼

There’s something quietly empowering about getting dressed to go out…
Putting on an outfit on with ease
Not picking yourself apart
Just looking in the mirror and feeling comfortable in your skin

If you’d told me 10 years ago that this would be my reality, I would’ve laughed 🙃

Getting dressed up used to be my worstttt nightmare
Overthinking everything
Trying on multiple outfits
The self-criticism

But now?
It actually excites me!! I loom forward to dressing up for our girly Friday night dinner dates 💛

And not because I woke up one day suddenly confident…

But because I built it 📈

By training my body to get stronger and fitter 
By prioritising my health
By improving my diet and lifestyle choices
By creating healthy habits that give me energy and clarity each day

And I promise you, you can build it too ✨

Self confidence isn’t just about how you look

Confidence is built every single day through the actions you take and the promises you keep to yourself

Every time you tell yourself you’ll do something and you don’t, you chip away at that trust and form the behaviour that’s it’s ok to do not do it

If you tell yourself you’ll go to the gym but then you skip it cause youre tired, or you haven’t prepped the meals you said you would so you get a takeaway….

Each little broken promise reinforces to yourself that you can’t do it, or it’s okay to not follow through on your word…. which eventually makes it harder to show up consistently when you need to

If your body isn’t responding the way you expect, it’s not a motivation issue.

It’s a strategy issue.

If you’re just eating the same calories.
Hitting the same reps each week.
Training with the same medium effort…

Then there will be little change!

Getting toned isn’t about doing more.

It’s about knowing what phase you’re in, and committing to it 🫡

Losing body fat when it’s time to lose it ✂️

Building muscle when it’s time to build it 💪🏼

And adjusting your nutrition so it actually supports both 🍎

You can’t coast in the middle constantly and expect your body to suddenly change

If you want to look lean, strong, and confident, you need phases and intention ❤️‍🔥

Your problem isn’t a lack of commitment
It’s committing to the right reasons

A goal without a meaningful “why” will always be hard to sustain, especially when life gets busy

Most women I speak to say:
“I want to lose weight.”
“I want to feel better.”
“I want more confidence.”

But like WHY does that actually matter to you?

And I know it’s not really about a number on the scale is it…
It’s about who you want to become in the process.

The woman who keeps promises she makes to herself.
The woman who follows through even when life is busy.
The woman who doesn’t need “perfect conditions” to show up.
The woman who leads herself first — in her health, her habits, her standards.

When your ‘why’ is clear, the daily choices feel different

You stop negotiating with yourself
You stop relying on motivation
You start acting in alignment

Because this isn’t really about fat loss.
It’s about self-trust. Standards. Identity.

This is why I don’t coach women to chase quick results ❌

I coach women to build evidence.

Evidence that they are: Disciplined. Resilient. Capable. In control.

Because when your ‘why’ is strong enough…
motivation becomes irrelevant

And that’s where real lasting change begins ✨
