You’re not failing

POV: Its Monday and you’ve woken up hitting the reset button… let’s chat 👇🏼

It was a great week. Training on point, eating well, feeling good 😎

Then the weekend happens… a meal out, a birthday, something unplanned, and suddenly the whole thing feels like a write off

It’s what happens when a high achieving mindset meets an imperfect week 🤝

Because the women who do this are usually the ones who give everything in every other area of their life….

Their career, their family, the people around them…

High standards aren’t their flaw it’s they’re their superpower 🦸🏼‍♀️

But the same drive that makes them brilliant can also make them their own harshest critic the moment something doesn’t go to plan

So what’s the shift that changes everything?

Recognising that the women who transform aren’t the ones who have perfect weeks

Fat loss diaries week 6 😎

A tough week mentally and physically 🤣

First week where training has felt like a chore and hunger has been testing me!

Buuuut I’m remembering that I’m the one who chose this goal so l need to do what I need to do right 🤷🏼‍♀️

And this is where having a coach in your corner really does help. There’s only so much you can push yourself and I need someone to hold me to my own standards too when it feels tough and I wanna give in!

It’s messages like this that make me realise it’s way more than just nutrition and training coaching

“You knew before I knew the potential I had and the strength I held within my mind and body. You saw me for the person I was and showed me that I could be so much more than that.”

And this is why I do what I do

Not the before and after photos. Not the numbers on the scale. Not even just the physical transformation…

Although yes we work incredibly hard for that and it matters deeply as well

It’s helping women see what they’re truly capable of 🫶🏼

And that’s honestly what RISE is built on

Confidence really is a choice

No one is born with it

It’s a skill that is learned and developed over time

Through experiences, learning, and practice

That often feel very uncomfortable!

I started by just wanting to lose some weight because I was unhappy…

And this honestly started the journey of building my confidence in SO many areas of my life that have shaped who I am today

Fat loss diaries week 5 😎

A gain in the scales this week as I went away for a few days and very much enjoyed myself 🇹🇭

Things I did to help maintain as best as possible was staying active, training everyday and still mainly choosing healthy meals

Buuuut i did also enjoy alcohol, baked treats and some indulging meals too 🍹

When I got back Monday I was sitting 1kg heavier than when I left

By Thursday this had come down by 0.4kg so I’m still sitting a little heavier (and I still feel inflamed and more bloated than usual tbh)

But since getting back it was straight back to business with training, cardio, calories and tracking ☑️

Admittedly things felt a lot harder though, hunger was higher and energy was lower!

Not seeing this as a setback as I had a good time but motive to focus and keep pushing forward now 🏃🏼‍♀️

7 week until the first shoot!!

You’re doing everything right…

Hitting your calories. Nailing your protein. Not going overboard on carbs ✅

But something still feels off….

You’re tired, bloated, and low on energy
�But how can that be possible when your numbers are spot on? 👀

Here’s the thing nobody talks about 👇🏼

Calories and macros numbers matter yes but they only tell half the story

The QUALITY of what you’re eating determines how your body actually uses it.

Think of it like fuelling a car 🚗 Petrol and diesel both make it move. Put the wrong one in though? You’re going nowhere fast 😅

It works the same way with your food

1️⃣ Quantity — your calories, protein, carbs, fats — drives your results. Deficit = weight loss. Surplus = weight gain. Simple.

2️⃣ Quality — is what determines how you *feel* getting there. Your energy, your recovery, your hormones, your digestion.

For example 👇🏼

120g of protein from chicken, eggs, fish and yoghurt = nutrients, satiety, steady energy 🍗

120g from deli meat, protein bars and shakes = harder on your gut, more bloating, inconsistent energy, slower recovery 🥤

Same numbers. Completely different outcome.

The goal isn’t being completely ~clean~ but it’s getting at least 80% of your food from whole sources and letting the rest fill in around it ⚡️

Leanne joined Rise Coaching 8 months postpartum after feeling trapped in a cycle of bad eating habits and little exercise. She felt the weight creeping on since giving birth and knew she needed to make a change for herself and her family!

We understand that when you’re a mum to young children, investing in your own personal goals can often bring a lot of guilt and barriers…

But how can you show up as your strongest and healthiest version for others if you’re not feeling good within yourself? 🙏🏼

We showed Leanne that she CAN prioritise her own wellbeing and happiness whilst being present for her children

Her plans have been simple to follow, adapted when needed and they easily fit into HER life and routine

No extremes. No fad diets. No gym membership for the first 7 months!

Unpopular opinion: you won’t drop body fat without some level of restriction 👀

One of the hardest parts of losing body fat consistently isn’t the food or the training… it’s the social pressure

Not wanting to make a fuss. Not wanting to seem boring. Wanting to keep everyone around you happy!

But if you have a goal you actually want to reach, it is your responsibility to take actions that align with it.

And that will likely mean making short-term sacrifices along the way!

I’ve coached hundreds of women through this and this is the hurdle that separates the ones who get results from the ones who feel like they are spinning their wheels 🛞

Posting this a few days late sorry!!

Last week was a pretty standard and unexciting week ticking the boxes ✅

Which honestly was needed as I booked a last minute trip away oops 😬

So ended up finishing this week 2.4kg down in total which put me ahead of our expectations 👌🏼

Week 5 and diet break update pending this Thursday!!
