Cambridge Safety was established in Peterborough in 1998 primarily to provide assistance to organisations in meeting their legal obligations with respect to health, safety and the environment. Through this work it has become apparent that, not only do organisations need competent technical assistance, but also need to give employees at all levels the skills to work safely and to prevent environmen

tal harm. Cambridge Safety provides a wide range of cost effective training solutions with this aim in mind. Our focus is on providing easily accessible development opportunities which is why the majority of our course programmes are provided on a day-release basis to enable delegates to fit their development needs alongside their existing work commitments. All our courses are supported by lively enthusiastic presentations, quality handouts and relevant HSE publications. Our photos and video clips are used to demonstrate examples of both good and bad practice to delegates. Our pass rates for all course programmes exceed the national averages by far, so if you have the commitment, you are in safe hands! For those comapanies needing additional support we offer a range of tailored consultancy projects covering the range of health, safety, well-being and environmental issues. Including enivironmental and H&S management system development, audits, inspections, risk assessments and aspect assessments.

International Self-Care Day

Self-Care encompasses activities that individuals engage in to promote their overall well-being.

This isn’t just about one area of life, it considers the physical, mental and emotional aspects. This can vary from person to person, but can lead to improved mental and physical health, reduce stress, increase energy and enhance overall wellbeing.

Good luck to our Nebosh Diploma delegates who are completing their DN3 assessments over the next two weeks.

Today is International Bring Your Dog to Work Day!

Businesses across the UK allow dogs in the workplace and studies show that the presence of pets can substantially reduce a person’s stress level.

Increased job satisfaction, team co-operation and morale have all been reported in employees that spend the workday with their pets!

Meet the Cambridge Safety dogs who regularly spend time in our office.

Do your workers use display screen equipment (DSE) daily, as part of their normal work or continuously for an hour or more?

As an employer you must do a workstation assessment and where there are risks, steps should be taken to reduce them.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DISTANCE LEARNING & CLASSROOM COURSES: Find out from one of our delegates!

At Cambridge Safety, we understand that choosing the right study method for the NEBOSH Diploma is an important decision. Both distance learning and classroom-based courses cover the same syllabus, use Cambridge Safety’s course materials, and have the same final NEBOSH assessments. So, what’s the advantage of choosing a classroom course?

One of our delegates initially enrolled in the distance learning package but, after completing one unit, decided to upgrade to the classroom course for the final two units. Upon completing the course, they shared this wonderful feedback:

Full Client Testimonial

“I’ve just left a Google review, but I also wanted to take 5 minutes to thank you all for everything during my Diploma journey.

I’m so glad I moved to classroom-based learning after my first unit, I think the result uplift speaks volumes, but the real value was in the relationships made and the depth of knowledge and understanding gained. I enjoyed every part of the experience (even the exams if I’m being honest!) and the environment you provide for learning was a big part of that, so thank you all for your help and support— it’s appreciated beyond what I’m capable of putting into words.

And Jackie- thank you! Your patience and knowledge in context were invaluable. I developed a bit of a fascination with occupational health following the last unit, so if you have any tips or advice on what the next stage of learning would be like in this area then please let me know!

Once again, thank you all so much for being amazing”
