All Good Things Must Come to an End
On 17 July 2024, we proudly delivered our very first Forklift Instructor Course. Fast forward to 17 July 2025, and we experienced our first practical referral.
Now, let’s put that into perspective: one full year without a single referral in the practical element, despite running this training roughly every six weeks. That’s quite an achievement by anyone’s standards.
Our passion and commitment to delivering high-quality forklift training are what make results like these possible. However, we must give credit where it’s due – to the delegates themselves. The course is undoubtedly challenging, but it is designed to be achievable for those who apply themselves.
So, why did we finally see a referral? In the candidate’s own words: “I was nervous. I had a bad start to the lesson and never quite recovered.” He never said he couldn’t do it, nor that he wasn’t ready – it was simply the fear of the unknown getting the better of him. This can happen to anyone on any given day. He’s already planning to rebook and will use this experience to return stronger and become a better instructor.
Over the past year, we’ve been proud to publicise our 100% record – and rightly so. But we always knew that streak would one day come to an end. The positive news? We now have a record to beat, and we’re determined to do just that, starting with the very next course.
