We had a truly wonderful outing today visiting Dobbies Garden Centre 🌷

It was filled with smiles, nostalgia, and plenty of heart warming moments. 💛

Our residents had a lovely time exploring the beautiful surroundings and catching up over delicious cakes and steaming hot drinks. 🍰☕️

For many, it felt like a trip down memory lane, they recognized the grounds immediately, sharing stories of the many happy times they’ve spent there over the years. 💕

A highlight of the trip was wandering through the garden center and watching the fish swim peacefully in the pond. 🐠🌿

We also shared a huge laugh when we encountered a (fake!) spider. 🙃

Our residents proved just how brave they are, claiming they’d hold a real one without a second thought, though they all agreed that snakes are definitely off limits! 🕷️🚫🐍

It was a perfect day of sharing memories, making new ones, and enjoying each other's company. 😊✨

We’re already looking forward to our next adventure!

A Lovely Day of Mindfulness & Connection! 🌿

The morning started off so beautifully with a real sense of calm. 😌

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying some community engagement and truly getting to know each other, whether they were finding their flow with colouring, tackling word searches, or just enjoying some quiet reflection tucked away with a good book.

There was such a relaxed, present atmosphere in the air, with everyone showing such gentle focus on their activities while enjoying each other's company. 📕

Our afternoon tea was just as delightful, a perfect moment of mindful relaxation. 🦋

Everyone sitting back, staying in the moment, and really connecting while tucking into those delicious treats fresh from the kitchen. 🍰☕️

We also wanted to say a huge thank you for the lovely, positive message for us. 💝

It honestly brought a massive smile to the whole care team’s faces, and we’re so grateful for the ongoing support and kind words. ❤️

It’s been one of those days filled with great conversation and a truly heartwarming, peaceful atmosphere. 🥂🍓✨

They will be visiting on 2nd April from 10:00am, giving everyone a great opportunity to have a chat, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake,☕🍰 and ask any questions you may have.

The team will be happy to offer safety advice, discuss any concerns, and provide helpful information about keeping yourself and our community safe.

It’s a relaxed and welcoming chance to get to know the officers who support our local area.

What a fantastic morning out our residents had at ten-pin bowling 🎳✨

There was plenty of friendly competition as everyone took turns aiming for those pins — and we were thrilled to celebrate a couple of brilliant strikes! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

The cheers echoed around the lanes, and the smiles on everyone’s faces said it all. It was wonderful to see such determination, laughter, and team spirit throughout the game 😃

Days like these are so special — getting out into the community, staying active, and making happy memories together. We’re already looking forward to the next trip! 😁

What a truly delightful afternoon we shared! 🌸

It was an absolute joy to gather with friends and family, and the warm conversations, smiles, and shared memories truly made it a 'taste of heaven.' 🥰

As we continuously embrace our theme Random Acts of kindness this month, a special heartfelt thank you goes to Doreen Price, her incredible kindness and baking talents graced our tables with an array of magnificent cakes, all made with love, serving as a wonderful random act of kindness for all to enjoy. ❤️

What a heartwarming day filled with joy and appreciation! 🥰

Today, on Random Acts of Kindness our incredible Ashlynn Grange family truly shone. 🎉

Friends and family came together to create a truly special experience for our dedicated staff. 💖

Our amazing team was showered with beautiful roses, delicious sweet treats, and comforting hot drinks, a perfect way to brighten their day. 🌹

The staff truly appreciated this wonderful expression of gratitude. 🙏

But the kindness didn't stop there! 🌟

Our staff also took the opportunity to exchange anonymous appreciation messages with each other, and the feedback was absolutely incredible to witness.

We were all deeply touched by the outpouring of support and love we received, not only from our beloved residents but, more profoundly, from each other, our extended family and cherished colleagues.

It truly reinforced the special bond we share. 🤗

Today was full of fun and laughter as our residents got hands-on with the Magictable! 🎉✨
This fantastic interactive table helps to stimulate the mind, body, and movement all at once – and it certainly did just that! Residents had a brilliant time popping virtual balloons, moving them back and forth, chasing the lights, and getting fully involved in all the different activities. 🎈💡
The Magictable can be used on the floor or on a table, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone – and it’s safe to say it was a huge hit! Even our staff couldn’t resist joining in on the fun! 😄
It’s wonderful to see so much energy, engagement, and big smiles all around. What a fantastic session! 💙

✨ Mothering Sunday at Ashlynn Grange – You’re Invited! ✨

March will soon be upon us, and we are so excited to be celebrating Mothering Sunday, on Sunday 16th March here at Ashlynn Grange!
We’re hosting a wonderful Afternoon Cream Tea with entertainment from 2.30pm until 4.30pm, and we would absolutely love for you to join your loved ones for a special afternoon filled with sweet treats, laughter, and great company. ☕🍰🎶
There will be:
💐 Delicious cream teas
🎵 Fantastic entertainment
💕 A warm, welcoming atmosphere to celebrate together
There is a small charge for this event of £7.50, and tickets must be booked in advance, so be sure to pop to reception to secure yours and avoid missing out!

Yesterday at Ashlynn Grange, our wonderful residents welcomed the Chinese New Year of the Horse in the most spectacular way! 🐎🎊
The day was full of energy, colour and excitement from start to finish. We began by transforming our home with beautiful decorations, carefully putting them up together and creating stunning Chinese New Year designs. The creativity and teamwork on display were simply amazing!
At lunchtime, our incredibly talented in-house chefs treated everyone to a delicious Chinese feast — freshly prepared and absolutely mouth-watering. The dining room was full of laughter, conversation and the most wonderful aromas. 🥢🥠
And the celebrations didn’t stop there! Today, the festivities continued as our residents created a beautiful memorial display featuring handcrafted lanterns, pictures of horses and traditional Chinese artwork. They carefully brought everything together into one breathtaking piece — and it truly looks fantastic, as you can see!
What a vibrant, joyful and memorable celebration it has been. We are so proud of the creativity, enthusiasm and community spirit shown by everyone involved. ✨
