Babytobreast Ltd - Tongue Tie Practitioner and Breastfeeding Support Professional expert infant feeding and gender reveal services with over 310 5 star reviews on Google. Clinics in Peterborough.

No deposit required to book and no fees if cancelled with 24 hours notice. I provide infant feeding clinic services for mothers who are able to travel to Beeston, Solihull and the Peak District who need support with their babies, both breast feeding and artificial feeding. I am a member of the Royal College of Midwives, the Lactation Consultants of Great Britain and the Association of Tongue-Tie P

ractitioners. Please see my website for availability. I have worked in the NHS, initially as a nurse and then as a midwife since 1992. I have specialised in infant feeding due to my passion for supporting mothers who wish to breast feed. Like most people who have a keen interest I had feeding problems which subsequently led me on a pathway to where I am today, supporting mothers independently. In 1993 I began my family and I have two lovely daughters. I was able to breast feed the first daughter without any concerns until she self weaned. Sadly, my second daughter was unable to breast feed and, reluctantly, I moved on to artificial milk for her. Without in depth knowledge and experience, I was unable to identify why she struggled, and blamed myself for not being able to feed her. When I discovered information about Tongue Ties in 2007 it was my 'light bulb' moment and the path was set for me to acquire training, as an IBCLC, and experience and competency in frenulotomies (division of the Tongue tie). To verify my professional qualification and fitness to practice please visit the NMC register and enter my full name, Suzanne Liza Barber.

Watched with fascination this morning Laura Kenny discussing her breastfeeding experience. Plaudits to her for raising the lack of support and its impact on women’s breast feeding journey but what really frustrates me in practice is the lack of experts in the NHS which often undermines the journey with conflicting advice. Sadly this was not mentioned.
Sadly the ‘pain is normal to be expected’ message was also there this is the single most damaging comment for women as they tolerate a sub optimal painful feed as a result.
Treat the cause not the symptoms.

Our Story

I provide infant feeding clinic services for mothers who are able to travel to the Peak District, Solihull and Nottingham who need support with their babies, both breast feeding and artificial feeding. I am regulated by the Care Quality Commission, insured with Aviva, member of the Royal College of Midwives, the Lactation Consultants of Great Britain and the Association of Tongue-Tie Practitioners. My Peak District Clinic availability can be flexible. Please call for my availability. I worked in the NHS until 2015 , since qualifying as a nurse in 1989 and then as a midwife in 1992. I have specialised in infant feeding due to my passion for supporting mothers who wish to breast feed. Like most people who have a keen interest I had feeding problems which subsequently led me on a pathway to where I am today, supporting mothers . I have been in private practice since 2010. When I discovered information about Tongue Ties in 2007 it was my 'light bulb' moment and the path was set for me to acquire training, as an IBCLC, and experience and competency in frenulotomies (division of the Tongue tie) 2010.
